2018 Messenger Chara Red Blend

Tasting Notes:  Soft & spicy with notes of raspberry & white pepper, trademark cinnamon, and a hint of pine.  The wine is brighter than most Grenache blends and drinks ever better with a soft chill.  The body may be soft, but the flavor is big with red currants, raspberry, and dark cocoa complemented by Alpine freshness and allspice. 

2018 Messenger Syrah

Tasting Notes:  The nose is immediately filled with rich, stewed strawberry vapor- like grandmother getting ready to can preserves.  For Syrah, the wine shows deep edges of crimson and the palate is velveteen, yet fresh.  The strawberry is ever present then held up by subtle bacon fat, menthol, leather and finally yields to Bing cherry.
