Tasting Notes
The 2014 vintage was a short, early growing season distinguished by its lack of significant weather events—no hard frost, no major heat spikes, no problematic rain. This wine was tank fermented and aged in 100% new French oak for 20 months.
Vibrant aromas of red fruit, flowers and spice begin on the nose and blossom on the palate. Juicy cherries and red fruit offer a fresh and dynamic energy, with more subtle floral, mineral and saline notes building additional complexity. Richly textured, elegant tannins provide depth and finesse from start to finish. Uncommonly refined, aromatic and profound.
